ABOUT OUR TREATMENTS
Laser Tattoo Removal can be the safest and most effective tattoo removal method for the removal, correction, or fading
of all, or part of a Tattoo, Semi- Permanent Makeup or Scalp Micropigmentation (or Tricopigmentation).
Choosing the best laser tattoo removal clinic is crucial to achieving the best results. At The Laser Studios, we understand
the importance of this and that’s why we have a selection of machines including the triple-wavelength Alex Trivantage (ATV) from Syneron-Candela, one of the world's leaders in Medical and Aesthetic lasers. Used by hospitals and clinics throughout the world, not only for tattoo removal but also to treat a variety of pigment conditions and newer pigmentation treatments such as Semi Permanent Makeup, Microblading, Scalp Micropigmentation and Tricopigmentation.
One of only a dozen in the UK this machine delivers not only the two Q-switched Nd:YAG wavelengths of 1064nm and 532nm, but also a third wavelength of 755nm, providing valuable additional targetting for black and dark blue pigments as well as green and light blue pigments, which most lasers can't treat.
Every tattoo and micropigmentation placement is different and factors like age, size, quality, and colours all have a bearing on how many sessions will be required, and how successful your treatment will be. Not all laser tattoo removal machines are the same so it’s important to make sure that the ones used by your clinic can provide the best result possible for your tattoo.
For further reassurance in our professional services, all our technicians are fully qualified and trained to the highest standards in laser tattoo and pigment removal to provide expert results and safe treatment at all times. This combination of training and technology allows us ensure the best treatment and up-to-date methods such as R20 which, in certain cases, can result in more rapid results in less visits.
When it comes to the removal or correction of Micropigmentation, including Semi-Permanent Makeup, Microblading, and Scalp Micropigmentation, the treatment is carried-out in very much the same way as with the removal of permanent ink. The placement of the ink, however, due to to the nature of the treatment is usually in an area that is more sensitive and certainly more visible. As such, the process need to be approached with even more care so as not to damage surrounding tissue. At The Laser Studios, we adopt a responsible approach to tattoo and pigment removal at all times, believeing that, whilst removal is important, taking care not to damage the skin unnecessarily, and so minimise the risk of scarring, is in the prime interest of all our clients.
Prior to each treatment, a consultation must be carried-out to discuss whether full removal, fading, or correction is required and to discuss the procedure, advise on costs and treament times, and answer any questions. During the consultation, a patch test will also be performed to determine the correct level and wavelength at which to start the removal process in a safe and responsible manner. Assuming the client wished to proceed, they would then return 1-2 weeks later, when the results of the patch test can be analysed and the remainder of the pigment in the area can be treated. Therafter, treatments would normally be carried-out every 5 to 6 weeks and assessed prior to each following treatment.
